For a meal out in Thanet I would definitely recommend Phileas Fogg and this is now our “go to” place when we visit Broadstairs. The staff were friendly and welcoming and attentive to us even as the restaurant filled. All the food that came from the kitchen was very well presented, tasty and generous in portion size. For starters i can highly recommend the Thai fishcakes and the Band Bang chicken and my grandad thoroughly enjoyed the Moules Marinier with fresh bread to mop up the sauce. For the mains my brother enjoyed the full rack of barbequed ribs which was mouthwatering. The Hudson bay lamb was beautifully cooked and lasted no time at all on my husbands plate despite the size! The Chicken Milano served on a bed of rustic mash with fresh vegetables left me satisfied and smiling, ready for some sorbet for afters! I will be going back with my children as i was also impressed with the childrens menu available. Highly recommened and now a firm favourite.
